Metallized sapphire windows have high precision geometric dimensions. They can be vacuum brazing with metal housings. The assembled metallized sapphire window is very strong and resistant to corrosion. Typically used in areas with high sealing requirements.
Typically, metalized sapphire window requires an anti reflective coating. And these optical thin film coatings require very good boundary contact with the metalized coating. Different products require extremely strict mask，etching and other complex processes.
A good metalized sapphire window must have excellent optical transmission characteristics and excellent metalized coating.
